When you access the Service, we and our service providers automatically collect:

Business Transfers
If ITS is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
With Your Direction
We share information when you direct us to do so, including when you choose to share content through social media, refer a friend, or participate in joint promotions.

We and our service providers use cookies, web beacons, pixels, software development kits, and similar technologies to operate and improve the Service. The categories include:
- Strictly necessary cookies, required for authentication, security, and core Service functionality

8. Video Viewing Information
ITS is a subscription video service. The Video Privacy Protection Act (VPPA) and similar state laws govern how providers handle video viewing records.
We use information about which videos you watch to provide the Service, recommend related content, measure engagement, and improve our instructional library. We do not disclose your video viewing records to third parties except as permitted by the VPPA, including:
- With your informed, written consent (which you may withdraw at any time)
- To service providers acting on our behalf and bound by confidentiality obligations
- In response to a valid court order or warrant
- As otherwise expressly permitted under applicable video privacy law
9. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including providing the Service, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements. Specific retention periods include:
- Active account information, retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure to handle billing reconciliation, support requests, and disputes
- Transaction and payment records, retained for at least seven years to satisfy tax and accounting requirements
- Marketing records, retained until you unsubscribe or object, plus a brief suppression period to honor your preference
- Server logs and security records, typically retained for 12 to 24 months
- Customer support communications, retained for up to three years

13. Global Privacy Control and Opt-Out Signals
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) and similar opt-out preference signals as required by California, Colorado, Connecticut, and other state privacy laws. When we detect a valid signal from your browser or device, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for that browser or device. To apply your preference across all sessions and devices, please also submit a request through the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link or by contacting privacy@inthespread.com.
14. Automated Decision Making
We do not engage in automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you. We use automated processing for content recommendations, fraud detection, and personalization, but these processes do not result in decisions that meaningfully restrict your access to services, employment, credit, housing, education, or similar opportunities. If our practices change, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any required disclosures.

When you post content publicly on the Service, including comments, reviews, or community contributions, that content and any personal information you include become accessible to others. Exercise care when posting publicly. We cannot control how other users handle your content, and information shared in public areas may be collected and used by third parties.
